some of you guys seem like smart people...
so maybe someone can answer my question. why, if you have a membership to a gym where 99 percent of the cardio equipment has its own flat panel TV attached, would you get on the TV-less treadmill next to mine and proceed to lean over my shoulder for 20 minutes? it's annoying and a little creepy.

because they wanted to make smalltalk with you, but read your last post?
she did try to talk to me even though i had my iPod on. she was commenting on the TV show she was watching on my TV. i just gave her a feeble smile and cranked up my tunes. for all i know, she was talking to me for the entire 20 minutes, and i couldn't hear her. headphones rock.
